Where in the Philippines is a content-led media platform that answers the questions Filipinos and travelers actually ask. We publish in-depth articles, original videos, and photography that cover travel, food, accommodations, business, and the everyday FYI you wish someone had told you sooner.
We’re not a generic blog with rewritten lists. We’re a small team of Filipinos who go to the places we write about, talk to the people who run them, and share what we learn — clearly, honestly, and visually.

Our Story: From One Province to 7,641 Islands
Where in the Philippines is the national expansion of Where in Pampanga — a 10-year lifestyle and travel media company founded by Louie R. Sison in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Over the past decade, Where in Pampanga became the trusted local guide for one of Luzon’s most dynamic provinces — featuring the businesses, stories, and go-to places that make Pampanga, Pampanga. Along the way, we built a loyal community, partnered with hundreds of brands, and proved that locally-rooted, well-told stories win every time.
But the same questions kept coming in from readers outside Pampanga:
- Where in the Philippines can I find the best [insert food, beach, mountain, café, business, etc.]?
- Where should I go that nobody is talking about yet?
- Where can I get an honest, up-to-date answer instead of a generic listicle?
Where in the Philippines is our answer. We’re taking the model that worked for one province — and bringing it to all 81.

Meet the Founder
Louie R. Sison is the founder of Where in the Philippines and the owner of Where in Pampanga. A road-trip junkie, writer, and video creator at heart, Louie has personally traveled to 24 provinces across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — including Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Bulacan, Rizal, Bataan, Zambales, Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Camarines Sur, Iloilo, Aklan, Davao, Surigao del Norte, and Cagayan.
That’s not a bucket list — that’s lived experience. And it’s the lens through which every story on this site is told.
Louie also leads a small team of Filipino writers, videographers, and creators who keep the content flowing. (We’ll be introducing them properly in due time — keep an eye on this page.)
